Oh what a dream you are to capture. You arrive timidly, unaware of the trust in your eyes and excitement in your heart. I can see your strength and boldness clearly when you step in front of my lens and I am inspired even more when you begin to see it too. I truly adore these sessions and would love to have you join the bad ass crew of elle rose babes.
So Laurie…
why should I do a elle rose boudoir session?
Because boudoir sessions are liberating. They have an exciting thrill to them. And most importantly, it is an incredible excuse to love on yourself!!
(And you deserve to feel all of that.)
But don’t just take my word for it…
How did you feel going into your boudoir session?
At first, totally confident. Then the day starting approaching quickly and I became more and more nervous.
How did you feel after?
So. entirely. amazing. I went into the boudoir shoot with expectations for a man and left knowing that I also did the shoot for me. I left with such a self esteem high! It truly was an out of body experience, nothing I’ve ever done has left me with such confidence.
Did you enjoy working so closely with Laurie for you boudoir images?
Absolutely. She made me feel comfortable right off the bat. Exposing skin is definitely scary but the comfort level was immediately present. Laurie focuses on your positives for the ENTIRE shoot.
Would you do it all over again?
One hundred and ten percent!

If you did your session with a partner in crime, would you recommend it?
Yes! One of my best friends and I shot together and it was so much fun! You totally vibe off of each other's energy and honestly it felt so much easier that way. It's also nice to take a quick break; gather your thoughts, re-apply makeup, and change your lingerie - I can't imagine doing it alone!
How did you feel about your final image delivery?
Awesome! I didn't know I could look that amazing, and without photoshop too! It was such a confident booster for me.

How did you feel going into your session?
I was mostly nervous, mainly because I didn't know what to expect and I'm not 100% happy with my body (who is..). I was excited too, though. So much planning went into it; I was glad it was finally here!

How did you feel about your final image delivery?
I was very happy with them (and relieved)! I was surprised at how many I really loved! We (I) tend to be so self-critical and I was able to get past that. They really turned out beautiful, as did the other girls' I saw.
Any advice for future boudoir models?
Just go for it...the bad pictures can be deleted :) Figure out your favorite things about your body and ask to highlight them. Also, smile and be silly in some, they don't all have to be serious. I felt like some of mine looked like I was mad! And it's worth it to get your hair and makeup done professionally! And the whole practice before hand advice, well it is so true!! What a lifesaver that was, I had so much more confidence knowing how my body would move + look after practicing at home! It is silly for sure, but changed my session for the better!

The images arrived in a timely fashion and were easy to upload. I also ordered a book, designed by Laurie, which I gifted to my groom the night before our wedding. He loved it!

How did you feel going into your boudoir session?
I was excited, but also a little nervous. I have a more curvy figure, so being uncovered is not always comfortable for me. But I brought a good friend along shopping for outfits and to the photo shoot which made it a lot more fun and stress free.

Would you do it all over again?
HECK YEAH!!
How did you feel about your final image delivery?
I used a little less than half of the images to create my album for my fiance. Of course, we're our own worst critics, so there were images I wasn't 100% happy with. But overall, I was happy with the looks, poses and shots we got.
Any advice for future boudoir models?
Go more risque on the outfits you bring to the shoot!! They look SO good on the photos and take the picture "hotness" up a notch. Be organized on what outfits you want to wear going into the shoot; there is limited time to change, so knowing exactly what outfit you're putting on next helps alleviate some of the stress during the shoot. Spray tan before the shoot! Use a professional hair & makeup artist. Be confident! Have fun!
How did you feel going into your session?
Excited, anxious!!
